The first movie was cute, since it was introduced unlikely action hero, always hungry, overweight panda named Po, voiced by Jack Black and underdog story exciting and fun. A large part of his appeal was a comical spin brought a mentor-student relationship between Po and his diminutive kung fu master Shifu, expressed with a hilarious deadpan style, Dustin Hoffman. There was also a novelty Po gives the opportunity to fight alongside his heroes, the quintet of martial arts wizards known as the Furious Five.

Peacock voice of Gary Oldman, and a parallel story in which Po search for inner peace and discover the true story of his paternity. (If you recall, was raised by a love-owner of the noodle shop so dizzy named Mr. Ping, who happens to be a goose.)
The result is a film that is much more serious in tone, with fewer surprises in his bag of tricks. I was reminded of The Empire Strikes Back, which not only necessary that you know the first part of this saga, but it has its story to a deeper level involving the hero's quest for his real father.
People DreamWorks Animation is clearly counting on the public to create good feelings about the Po and the company in the theater with them, they took the risk of lowering the ratio of comedy and highlights new characters and elements of the plot. For my part, was happy to go on an adventure, while some people may start wishing they had gotten more laughs from the experience.
Animation veteran Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who led the story, and a special order for the first director of Panda makes successful debut feature redirects here, with figures established and new fans. Screenwriters Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger is built, what they and their colleagues created the first film. And production planning, another returnee, Raymond Zibach, is a pleasant, unusual colors and Asian influences.
As a follow-up to go, Kung Fu Panda 2 is quite good, especially at this stage, courtesy of the movie season ... and the final will know that there is at least one item on arrival.
